- If your current ForSaleByOwner.com package does not include the Premium Featured Home listing, you can upgrade to include this feature at a rate of $74.95 per 30 day period, which automatically renews at that same monthly rate until cancelled. You can do this by logging on to your account through your Selling Center.
Q: Does being included on the Zillow and Yahoo! Real Estate Network mean that I don’t need Realtor.com and MLS listings?
A: For maximum exposure to the greatest number of potential buyers, you will want to ensure that your listing is seen on all the real estate supersites – Realtor.com, as well as and your local MLS.
Q: When will my listing on the Zillow and Yahoo! Real Estate Network expire?
A: Your Premium Featured Home listing is included for the first 30 days of the Deluxe Listing package and the MLS Enhanced Listing package. You can choose to auto-renew the listing for $74.95 every 30 days, indefinitely (until you cancel).
Q: What if I already have a ForSaleByOwner.com featured home listing?
A: You have two choices:
- Maintain the featured home listing as it is for $49.95 for every 30 days (until you cancel your listing)
- Cancel it and purchase the Premium Featured Home listing for $74.95 for every 30 days (until you cancel your listing)
Q: Can my listing go to the Zillow and Yahoo! Real Estate Network even if I do not choose the Premium Featured Home option?
A: Yes. All ForSaleByOwner.com listings receive a standard listing on Zillow.com and Yahoo! Real Estate, but will not be designated as a “featured listing.”
Q: What if the ‘Zestimate’ is not the same as my asking price?
A: Both Zillow’s ‘Zestimate’ and the Home Value Estimator offered by ForSaleByOwner.com are computer-generated valuations (using different methodologies). All computer-generated reports are a good place to start researching the market value of your home, but a formal appraisal is the only measure of market value that is accepted by mortgage lenders. In the event that you think some of the information on your “Zestimate” is incorrect, you can go here to update the information Zillow has on file. A formal appraisal always trumps computer-generated value estimates from all sources.
