The area outside of the carport is lighted at night with dual carriage lights.. Notice that even the trash can has a brick enclosure with a wrought-iron gate. The front porch and car port add an additional 772 square feet under the main roof for a total of 5,036 square feet under the roof.

7. Exterior Features include Pella insulated windows throughout, complete flood light coverage with select motion detection lights for added security. The house is fully covered with brick, with lots of low-maintenance synthetic and anodized aluminum trim. The textured shingle roof was installed in 2006. The brown shutters were painted in 2006.

8. The utility building includes an air conditioned finished workshop and single car size storage garage. Workshop includes large work bench, storage bins, and double steel doors for easy access, 11 electrical outlets, and fluorescent fixtures to supplement natural window lighting. The storage garage has single-car garage doors, one at each end, and ramped concrete floor make the storage garage adjacent to the workshop a drive-through. It provides ample storage for lawn equipment, tools, and utility vehicles, or even secure storage for an antique car. Behind the utility building one finds the well for the irrigation system.
