The Pitch

A child's paradise and an adult's trip back to yesteryear. Pinehurst was designed and built by a diamond consultant to Tiffany & Company, and is considered one of the premier homes on Lake Hopatcong.

The Accommodations:

"Pinehurst," as it was named in 1902, can sleep 11 and includes:

• Main house with full-size attic, wraparound porch, and large crawl space.
• Big bunkhouse/office/laundry room with wood burning stove.
• Turn-of-the-century icehouse converted to a tool house.
• Brand new two-seater outhouse. (Much in demand!)
• Firepit on private pennisula.
• Charming round stone pump house by lake edge.
• Large boat house with 75' dock, diving board and slide.
• Deep water at end of dock.
• Shallow water and beach area at the foot of the dock.
• 100 years of jigsaw puzzles!
• DSL, of course. TV, of course, but no one watches it. Too busy.
