Quiet weekend getaway and a wonderful place to retire.

This country home is located 9 minutes from downtown Staunton, Virginia. It includes 4.6 acres situated on a larger farm, off the highway. Very private, quiet, with beautiful views in every direction.  The fireplace/heatalator has glass doors and a raised hearth.  The central vacuum includes the garage. This is great country living, a perfect weekend get away and will be a comfortable and convenient place to retire.  The garage is 21x20, basement 23x11.  The utility shed/kennel is 16'x16' with a 10'x4' indoor kennel, and dog door to a 10'x10' concrete serface plus a 10'x20' grass surface. which can be closed off from each other.  The  Staunton area offers pretty much all you will need, great restaurants, shopping, live theater, churches, public parks with a pool and tennis courts.  a modern medical facility, a library with a large magazine and DVD section, and Amtrak service. If you like to work out the local YMCA was just remodeled and offers hand ball and indoor tennis courts, a  pool, a modern gym, and a friendly staff. Staunton has already become a destination. It's  warm and friendly atmosphere includes B&Bs, small hotels in town, and a quaint shops.  If I didnt want to become a full time RVer Id most definitely keep the house and stay here. Youll love the house and the area.
