Looking west is the Caribou National Forest in Idaho. To the east is the Bridger Teton National Forest in Wyoming.

The town of Alpine sits next to the Palisades reservoir. There is abundant fishing, hunting, hiking, camping, river rafting, and anything pertaining to the great outdoors in this beautiful area of the country.

The hunter will find deer, elk, moose, bear, and antelope. The fisherman can cast for rainbow, brown, and mackinaw trout. Three rivers feed the reservoir (the Salt, the Snake, and the Greys) and some folks enjoy fly-fishing along these tributaries.

The lot is in Wyoming and is situated just inside the Wyoming State Line. There is no state income tax in Wyoming. Whether you are retired or working, this is a plus.
