This open concept post and beam house was built in 2004 / 2005.  The house has a field stone fireplace and a blue enamel MaGee Oxford (1903) cook stove.The heating system is oil F H A  with a wood stove furnace in the mud room which heats the entire house when in use during the winter. The wood shed holds up to 5 cord of fire wood. Last winter we used 3 cord of fire wood and about 175 gallons of oil to heat our home. We are full time residents, however the house can be zoned down to just heat the center section where all the plumbing exists. The house siding consists of 18" class (A ) red cedar shakes. All Windows are argon energy efficient. Interior woods include cherry, oak, butternut, maple and hickory. In the back is a 24' X 16 flag stone deck with a winter view to NH. If you wanted to cut the trees you could have a year round view. On the other side of the sun room is a 150 squarefoot slate deck with the same view. Next to the wood shed is a 16 X 9 cement floored work shop with shelving and electric.
