Nestled in the Vogel Springs Community on Blood Mountain, surrounded by the National Forest , (also your backyard) ,1 mile S. down the street is the Helton Creek Waterfall ,1 mile N. is Vogel State Park(for fishing, swimming, activities etc.),property has mountain view and a small creek. You really need to see the home in person ,the pictures just are not the same. The property is not as inclined as the picture makes it look. There is NO GRASS TO CUT isnt that great. Home has a wrap around deck, carport, completely remodeled, knotty pine ceilings, wood stove, energy efficient windows and doors, elevation 2500 ft,home comes furnished , with washer and dryer in a walk-in closet and includes all appliances, great neighbors and community,if you love wildlife deer come to your backyard every night ,in summer its a hummingbird paradise , home has been restored and remodeled with quality and easy care in mind, tin roof ,all appliances newer, furnished ,even the beds are only 1 yr. old.I also added a lot of little comforts like a water filter, dehumidifier etc..that are good to have living in the mountains. The mountain view when the leaves arent out is breath taking. Also has a 10x10 shed ,carport 17x14 ,great room 10x20 could be used as a master bedroom and the room has 5 windows from floor to ceiling looking out your back yard forest, pergo floors through main house, berber carpeting in the 2 bedrooms. Water from well is awesome spring water right out of your faucet. The well is shared with 3 other home owners, so all costs are split 4 ways. Your share for the wells electric bill is about 60$ a year. The well pump was replaced about 5 years ago , we have had no issues with it since then. Ceiling fans, dehumidifier in crawlspace which is walkable in half of it. This home is very energy efficent and easy to heat and cool. Very low electric bills. Very easy to maintain .Very low taxes. The small creek is spring fed from a moutain behind the cabin in the National Forest, so it runs about half of the year depending on the water table and rainfall.
