The Finger Lakes Area is best known for boating, fishing and other lake activities, as well as the abundance of wineries throughout the area. The Keuka Wine Trail runs along the eastern line of this property, and the award wining winery, Dr. Konstantin Franks Vinifera Wine Cellars is a short drive down the road. Other Keuka Wine Trail wineries include Bully Hill vineyards, Heron Hill Winery, and Hunt Country Winery.

Additional activities in the area include golf, state parks, farmers markets, folk art, trade fairs and excellent hunting. There is also the local Mennonite population with their horse and buggies.
