There is one neighbor directly across the road on five acres but otherwise the house and property are private. The county provides fire and ambulance services and winter road maintenance. State Highway 4 is only two minutes away. Public schools are in Naselle and the school buy goes by the house.
Grays River is noted for its Covered Bridge, and nearby Naselle hosts the "Finn Fest" every couple years. Astoria has an active dining and arts scene. Long Beach has great July 4th fireworks. There are harbors to keep a boat at the river. Warrenton has a Fred Meyer, Home Depot, and a Costco. There is a food co-op and an organic bakery in Astoria along with a performing arts center and a renovated theater for concerts.
