Old world design located on the lake in Quail Creek Subdivision! This spacious, open, two story home offers 2931 square feet of living space. Built by Alvarez Construction in 2004, it has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The master suite and three additional bedrooms are located upstairs, and one additional bedroom is downstairs.

Upon entering the arched double doors you are greeted by an open foyer with staircase and ornate iron rail. There is an arched entrance to the formal dining room to the left; and to the right a small alcove with coat closet leading to the downstairs guest bath and bedroom. Both the foyer and dining room have wood floors, triple-crown moldings and ceiling medallions. From access by either the foyer or the dining room you can enter the great room. This room stretches the entire back length of the house, containing the kitchen on one end and the living area on the other. This spacious open area is highlighted by a wall of windows with a lake view, high ceilings, triple-crown moldings, and tile floors. The kitchen area boasts custom knotty cypress cabinets and butlers pantry, ceramic tile countertops, a large island, and stainless steel appliances (including a gas stove top, wall mounted oven and microwave, and dishwasher next to the sink). There is a large pantry/closet storage under the stairs in the Breakfast area. The living area has a matching knotty cypress mantel with a ventless gas fireplace. There are entertainment recesses on either side of the fireplace. The living area is pre-wired for surround sound (as is the back patio we have not installed a system to either), and there are cable television connections on two walls. This area is topped off with an Orleans design ceiling fan and medallion. Down a hall between the Kitchen and Dining rooms you will find a well appointed Laundry with a utility sink and space for an extra refrigerator or freezer. Beyond the Laundry is a built-in office nook with a spacious counter top, cabinets and bookshelf all built right in.

The master suite is truly grand with a tray ceiling accented by crown molding and decorative medallion. The master suite includes two spacious carpeted walk-in closets. One has a window and could be converted into a nursery, office or sitting room. The master bath has tile floors, an enclosed toilet, large whirlpool bath with a separate shower and a dual sink vanity with Corian countertops. The additional upstairs bedrooms are all spacious, the largest having a large picture window and the best view of the lake. The second upstairs bathroom has tile floors, Corian countertops and a door between the sink/vanity and the toilet/bath areas to allow use of the outer area while the other is occupied.

The entire house is painted in designer colors of soft beiges and white. There is also a monitored alarm system with key fob remotes, which is paid through September 2007. Two car garage (with remotes) has a large storage room with slat-board walls. It was tied into the central air and heating for us by the builder (we have used this room as a home office).

The exterior of the house is brick, stucco and cement board siding with a composite shingle roof. A custom iron railing has been added above the front entrance. There is extensive landscaping in the front of the house. The spacious back yard is fenced in wood along the front and black wrought-iron-style aluminum down the sides and across the back of the property. Room was left between the back fence and the lake to allow for boat storage. There is also plenty of room to build a deck or other lakeside amenities. There are two natural growing creek willows by the lake. We have also planted two mimosa trees by the lake and two drake elms in the yard. There is a large cement patio that is partially covered (approximately 1/3) and is enclosed in an aluminum and wood railing. Room was left inside the railing of the patio for landscaping. There is a separate fenced enclosure for a dog yard on the side of the house with a dog-poop composter. This yard is perfectly set up for a pool in the future!

Quail Creek Subdivision is an excellent family friendly place to live, with curbed streets and sidewalks. There are lots of kids for children to play with and lots of neighborhood spirit! Spend your lazy Sunday afternoons fishing in the stocked lake! Just a block down the street is the neighborhoods park with a grand old oak tree (fence and park equipment are slated to be put in later THIS year). Just down Parker Road, less than half-a-mile away, the new elementary school is being built.
