The Greenbrier River Trail offers no motorized use only and is a popular bike and hiking path extending from the cities of Cass to Lewisburg and offers over 100 miles of nice scenic riding experience. This trail is state maintained and has restroom amenities along the way, it was an old railroad taken out of service, cleaned and graveled for a great family experience

Some local attractions are  just a  few minutes  walk to the Cass General Store and museum. The home is 10 minutes from the top of Snowshoe Mountain Ski Resort which offers some of the best slopes to ski on the east coast also just 6 miles away the National Radio Astronomy Observatory in Greenbank WV. The Scenic Highway, Cranberry Glades, Bear town, Hills Creek Waterfalls, Droop Mountain Battlefield are all within a short drive to the south. To the northeast are the Seneca Rocks, Seneca Caverns, and Dolly Sods.
