Elevation is about 2200 feet and only 40 minutes from Boone and Blowing Rock, 1 hour from Winston-Salem, 1 hour from Mooresville and 15 more minutes to Lake Norman, 5 hours to Myrtle Beach, SC, 6 hours to Atlantic Beach, NC, 6 hours to Nags Head and finally... just over 5 hours to a Braves game!
