Mansfield was Voted in the "BEST 100 TOWNS IN THE COUNTRY" by MONEY MAGAZINE. The location of this house is perfect. It is 2 blocks from the center of Mansfield - 15 minute walking distance to the train station - 2 blocks from the entire school system which is one of the best in the state and 2 blocks from a major recreational park. The 4 season sun room is something we enjoy year round but since it is electric heat we use it sparely from Dec to March. It is on the south side of the house. The abundance of oak trees keep the lawn green without watering and keeps the cinder block and stucco house reasonably cool in the summer. We very rarely use the window A/C. The roof was replaced 10 years ago - the oil burning furnace was replaced l1 years ago - some of the unique features are the cathederal ceiling in the bedroom with a loft and a one step down living room - it has a galley style kitchen.There is no basement, however there are two large sheds made by Walpole Woodworkers that we use for extensive storage.
