The dinning area is open to the kitchen and has the most beautiful antique wagon wheel chandelier for lighting (the sister wheel is in the Great Room).  And oh yes, decks – wrap around on 3 sides of the home a total of linial 156 ft.  I almost forgot to mention the roof, it is red concrete Spanish Tile on the main roof and metal on the porches and the barn/shop, which is a great reducer of insurance premiums.  Heat is baseboard hot water—but wait, there is more,  a large antique Roud Oak Parlor stove is in the family room, a smaller Round Oak pot belly is in the master bed room, an antique coal wood range is in the kitchen area, works good but mainly for looks and old times sake and in the main living area a large custom built airtight/fireplace stove will make you wonder if you will ever want to buy propane.  All bed rooms are large with big walk in closets.  Our home is easy to heat and cool in the summer.  The garage is attached and a 24 X 44 barn/shop with a loft completes the buildings.  A large area is prepared for a riding arena with water hydrant.  The yard is large, sprinklered (great well), landscaped with lots of big Aspen, Ponderosa and fruit trees, yet easy to keep.

We are 13 miles from Florence, 21 miles from Canon City , 30 miles from Pueblo and about 50 miles from Colo. Springs.  We have abundant wild life, deer turkeys, bear and more.

Our home is a beautiful hand built, western- country and spacious  styled log home on beautiful property with million dollar views.  It is time for us to retire and we must down size to do that.  Come look, make us an offer, who knows....    Taxes for 2011 are $ 1727.40
