This lovely, growing community of permanent and part-time residents is off of US Highway 21 between Sparta and Elkin, NC, in Alleghany County, "the unspoiled province" of the NC Blue Ridge Mountains. Conveniently located 20 minutes from Interstate 77, less than an hour from Winston-Salem, about 90 minutes from Charlotte and Greensboro, and less than three hours from Raleigh.
