rochester vt farmhouse in north hollow on a dead end road

My house is at 555 Saw Mill Hill Road, a dead end road off of Quarry Hill Road, 2 miles east of rt 100 and 5 miles from downtown Rochester- I built the house in 1999 when I was a building contractor- 1 added an 8'x 56' porch in 2001 and I renovated the 2nd floor road side of the house into a new 1 bedroom apt in 2007. In 2006, I built a separate 2 car garage with a huge upstairs for storage and footings for a 12x22 foot run under for horses at the back. The house has oak floors throughout the downstairs and a custom built kitchen ,made by my German cabinet maker friend. The apt is all new with wide pine flooring throughout. The home is surrounded by a 4 acre meadow with views and horses have grazed it in the past. Just below the house is a picturesque 1900 renovated barn owned by my neighbor. The house is heated by a central Vermont castings stove with block chimney and there are several direct vent gas heaters that keep the house comfortable when the wood stove is not on.
