There are 3 natural springs on the land, a creek, and the water is provided by a private well. Water pressure is great, water is abundant at all times, and it taste pure and delicious. The house is outfitted with complete solar system, producing all its own electricity with 8-100 watt solar panels, a 450 watt wind generator and a 15,000 watt backup generator. This is off-grid living at its finest. All of the comforts of modern life with a top of the line electrical system, all electricity is produced by you. No electric bills. You will run a few appliances off propane; there is a large tank on the property. It runs the generator and provide alternative heating with a built in propane central heating system for the house, if you ever don't want to go with wood. The beauty of this system is that the solar and wind charge the batteries. A mechanical monitor watches to make sure that they stay charged, and if the batteries ever get low, it kicks on the generator automatically to keep the batteries charged. Basically, you flip a light switch and you get light.

New generator, on demand hot water heater, flooring (kitchen, entry, dining, living room, hall and master bedroom), propane 5-burner stove, and granite counter tops the summer of 2010.
