The interior of the house was recently repainted basic white.  It seemed that some of our prospective buyers felt that the deeper colors we had painted the rooms prevented them from really "seeing" the home the way they might decorate it - so we had it repainted white.  WE ALSO RECARPETED 2 OF THE BEDROOMS AND THE 2ND LIVING ROOM.  All totalled, $10,000.00 in upgrades were made to the house and the price has been lowered as the market has gone contracted.

We are not broke or desperate or in trouble on a variable rate mortgage or any of that stuff.  We simply do not live in Dallas any longer and want to sell this home.  Will we lose money on the house at this price, considering how much we put into it?  YES.  But that is the reality of real estate at this time, and we just have to accept that.  But it does not mean we will give the place away or accept any kind of a whacky or illegal deal.  This is an immaculate house - A single story impressive contemporary in a very safe and high end neighborhood, please come see it.

Everyone on the block knoes each other and we have quarterly get-togethers at one of the neighbors homes & July 4th parades and small block parties.  Lose your cat or your dog?  One of the neighbors will likely return it within a day, just post it on the neighborhood web site.  SERIOUSLY, when was the last time you lived in a neighborhood like this?  And what is really great is that we don't have any "crazies" in the bunch - all truly nice and stable people who makea good enough living to reside in this exclusive neighborhood.
