Some facts about the house:

*Strand-woven bamboo (harder on Janka scale than oak); hand-scraped.

*Unique granite countertops throughout.

*Closed-cell foam insulation in bonus room.

*Bonus room has separate 1.5-ton mini-split air system.

*Special sealing at tops of walls, around doors, and around windows to help prevent drafting of hot attic (or outside) air into walls. Should help with heating/cooling costs.

*Windows used were Low-E3, argon-filled (with exception of unique windows, as bathroom, etc.). This is one of the most energy-effecient options available, and more was paid to obtain these windows.

*Kitchen cabinets hand-crafted with 3/4" real plywood.

*Bathroom cabinets also hand-crafted.

*Master bathroom has a glass/tile shower, tub, and double vanity with separate toilet room.

*Master bedroom has a small/medium separate (closed off) office area for computer, printer, bills, papers, etc.

*A back covered porch has a high elevation relative to surrounding houses and provides a very nice few, with a nice tree close to the porch.

*I-joists were used for a solid and straight floor system (helps to ensure that hardwood flooring is straight, without humps).

*Eating bar in kitchen seats one adult comfortably or two children comfortably.

*3 1/2 baths.

*Garage is oversized and will probably hold most any truck (I designed it to potentially hold my large utility truck).

*Driveway is oversized for easy turning.

*Brick on front and partially on three sides. Special features in the brickwork include arches, walking soldier course at top, soldier band near bottom of framing, casing around windows, diamonds in the gables, and two brick families/colors.

*Spacious crawl space with large double door for entry.

*Lot is located high up at a desirable location, so as to try to avoid continual wetness.

*Camden ridge subdivision has a nice swimming pool and play area for children. Camden ridge is the choice for many younger families.
