Enercept Home-very energy efficient! Located near hospital.

Excellent quiet location near the hospital with a great view of the coteau hills and very little traffic on the road.  This "Enercept" home is very energy efficient with an annual average electric bill (including heat and A/C)  of $86 -$105 since 2004.  There is also a propane wall heater for backup/emergency heat which was also used for about 80 - 100 gallons per winter.

The house is 26x48 and the garage is 26x50.  The lot is 105' x 140.  There are 3 bedrooms, kitchen, dining room (with cathedral ceiling), bathroom and living room on the main level.  The almost finished basement has a family room, large pantry with a stove and space for a refrigerator and freezer, laundry room, bathroom,  a room used as a guest bedroom but the window is not large enough for use as a fire escape, and an unfinished storage room.

An extensive remodel was done in 2002, when the basement was finished and new walls and ceiling  finishes were done on many of the main level rooms.  New carpeting, new window treatments, new baseboard heaters in all room,  new  appliances and two sump pumps with new drain tile were also installed in 2002.  The window air conditioner was installed in 2003.

The house was built in 1983 and  a 2+ stall addition to the existing 2 stall garage was added in 1997.  Ceiling insulation and attic fans in the garage and house were added  also  in 1997.
