Enjoy great creekside living in the heart of the Ozarks on Shoal Creek in southwest Missouri. The house and garage/workshop sit on a beautiful 4.5 acre lot.  The house sits right at creekside on pillars and there is lots of decking to enjoy the peace and the tranquility of the area. Sit in the hottub and just relax with the view.  You can play in the creek or kayak/canoe the creek or fish for large mouth, small mouth, trout or goggle eye on the creek.  Neosho or Monett are 25 minutes away, Joplin 45 minutes and Springfield 1 hr.  You are about 1.5 hours away from Grand Lake and Stockton Lake for more fishing.  Table Rock Lake and Branson are about 2 hours away. 

 

This is a lovely cabin-style house (one large area) with a vaulted ceiling.  The inside has been recently updated with new wall, ceiling and trim paint and new laminated wood flooring.  There is one enclosed bathroom and we had one bed area, but it could accomodate more than one bed if needed.  It has a roomy kitchen, central heat/air, instant hot water heater, electric appliances, wood laminate floors and lots of ceiling fans.  It has washer/dryer hookups.  This is a nice home for 1 or two people, or more if you want it to be a weekender or vacation home.

 

We have made many improvements since we bought the property in June 2004.  A heavy duty, all weather gravel road was added..  The large, detached garage/workshop was built and extra decking was added to accomodate the central heat/air and the hot tub.  It also has a new roof.

 

There are two RV hookup stations with electric, water and sewer on the property, so that you can park your RV and another RV for family and friends to visit and enjoy creekside living with you. 

 

The detached garage/workshop is 35 X 54 and can accomodate a boat and an RV with electric hookup for the RV. Many electrical outlets make it ideal for a workshop.  It has heat and air and is insulated, so it is comfortable year-round. It has two 14 X 14 garage doors and one 6 X 6 garage door for your 4-wheeler or golfcart.  There is plenty of room to store all that extra stuff.
