The Schools/Neighborhood:

 This home is part of the top notch Camas School District and the bus stop is right across the street.  Prune Hill Elementary is about 1/2 a mile away.  The neighborhood is isolated and quiet, yet Walmart, Lowes, JC Penney, Home Depot, (and soon Costco) are just two miles up 192nd Ave.  Downtown Camas, with all of it's charm, lies just a few minutes to the West, over Prune Hill.  The famous recreation of the Columbia River Gorge is 20 minutes away, while the Portland Airport is 15 minutes, and downtown Portland another 10.

The Lot:

The lot is terraced with numerous flower beds--there are literally hundreds of bulbs--tulips, daffodils, etc. The boulder wall is peppered with ivy, phlox, and other creeping flowers. The fenced and private back yard features space for a 60'X10' garden with red and golden raspberries and two varieties of mature grapes, as well as several fruit trees. The tall two car garage has potential for a large storage loft, or possibly even a finished room addition.  Ample storage is available in the crawl space underneath the house, much of which has over 6 feet of head room.  A separate 6 foot tall shed has been cleverly built in underneath the front porch--perfect for storing the lawn mower and other tools.  The exterior of the house was painted in 2009.

Main Floor:

The view from the large front porch looks Southwest to Gresham, Portland, and Vancouver.  Saltillo tile in the entry continues throughout the kitchen, guest bath, and laundry room.  All trim, doors, light fixtures, and faucets are new within the last 2-3 years.  The bay window brightens up the front room which leads to a Tuscan-style dining area with dark wood and faux paint. The smooth top electric range was replaced just 2 months ago, and the cabinets were recently refinished in a pleasant white wash stain.
