***Before you read on, this house is part of a neighborhood where dogs are not allowed, so if you do have a dog, don't bother with reading on. Sorry!****
Now if you've past that... then read on...
You've just found a treasure in Asheville, NC. Due to changes within my career, I just decided to sell my home and move on from the lush lands of Western NC. As a result, you now have the opportunity to snatch up this coveted home before someone else moving to Asheville does.
Now let me tell you a little about my house. This patio home is the only unit "on the hill" presently available in the highly desireable neighborhood of Biltmore Commons. This neighborhood is divided into two parts: the triplexes (also known as patio homes) and the stacked condos (6 units in 1 building). Everyone wants to live "on the hill," but there are never units available--- except for now. This gated community offers swim/tennis, prime location (right off I-26 and I-40, 10 minutes from downtown Asheville), wonderful schools, picturesque views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, and most importantly, peace and quiet. Residents include a mix of retirees and professionals. In other words, there are no crazy college kids or screaming children running around. It is a friendly community where neighbors greet and interact with each other, but for the most part everyone keeps to themselves and enjoys the tranquil life of Asheville.
The house itself is second to none. This two bedroom, two bath home is considered by fellow homeowners to be the most luxurious condo in Biltmore Commons. Here is why. Upon entering the house, your eyes will open wide after seeing the gleam of the sleek and glamorous Bruce Hardwood flooring installed by Home Depot (with warranty). It sends light throughout the house and takes your breath away.
On your immediate right is a large (11 x 12) eat-in kitchen with marble countertops, oak cabinets, and fully equipped with each appliance. Sunlight pours through two large windows each morning. Plenty of room for a breakfast table.
Continue on down the main hall and you will come upon a dining room on the right. The end of the hall opens up into the living room. The living room is very spacious (15 x 14) and has the following features: 2 skylights, gas log fireplace, enclosed patio, and outdoor courtyard.
As for the bedrooms, you will be living large. The master bedroom is enormous! (14 x 15). Vaulted ceilings and twin mirrored closets make it perfect for living. The guest bedroom is the size of a normal Master in other homes (13 x 14). Both bathrooms have ceramic tiling floors installed by Home Depot.
There is a carport in front that has space for 2 vehicles. Storage is in abundance for this unit, as there are 4 outdoor closets, and the entire carport has an attic above for 400 square feet of storage.
All of these elements combine to make this mountain home perfect for enjoying each season in the mountains of Western NC. Also, where as some units will have other units directly behind them, this unit opens out onto a grassy knoll, so you have absolute privacy.
Biltmore Commons is also a fantastic neighborhood because it is the EASIEST living you can imagine. Because our neighborhood is organized and maintained by our Association, there are monthly dues to live here. I pay $173 each month. But that is worth it for us residents. What we get in return is weekly landscaping i.e. mow, edge, mulch, trim shrubs, etc), pool/tennis care, gated security, individual PO boxes, and most importantly exterior maintenance. If ANYTHING goes wrong on the outside of your condo, the Association pays for it. Last fall, we had a storm that came through and ripped off 30 shingles from my roof; therefore, all I had to do was place a call and the next day a crew came out and repaired the roof. Like I said, easy living.
Asheville is THE place to be in the United States right now. Everyone is wanting to move here and are looking for a place to live. The climate, the culture, and atmosphere that radiates from this city are like no other place around.
Come see the total package; no other place will offer you this standard living at such an affordable rate. Will you be the next owner of 1502? Call me.
