Not your average townhouse and has "NO ASSOCIATION FEES "

They call it a townhouse but we have made it our home.  Most are aware that mass produced houses are built with as cheap materials as can pass code inspections.  This one was no exception.   In the ten + years we have been here we have taken up the paved drive, replaced the drive bed, laid a concrete drive with hard-wired lighting, and replaced the deck and fence with heavier wood than the average.  The garage has been finished with florescent lighting, many electric outlets and 24 foot of quality cabinets mounted high enough you can still park your car.  An access door with ladder has been installed for the attic.  The attic also has inch ply-wood floor with florescent lighting.  All fascia and soffit has been replaced using quality material.   The furnace and air conditioner was replaced using an oversized unit for efficiency and longer life of the unit.  All windows and doors have been replaced with heavy steel framed double paned storm glass for protection and energy efficiency.  Just in the past year we replaced the master bath by taking out the shower stall and replacing it with an extra deep tub and ceramic tile walls and floor.  The roof is less than a year old.  In December last year we replaced the entire kitchen with oversized maple cabinets (real maple, not maple colored), all new fixtures, took up the old floor and replaced it with quality ceramic tile.

We are three minutes from a three mile nature walk in a forest preserve with fishing and less than five minuets from the shopping malls and resturants.
