The story started more than 10 years ago when we saw the land and had a vision for a loft apartment.  The original plan was to build a red barn, living upstairs with the garage beneath, that would eventually turn into the 'doghouse' after we built the dream house.  But 8 years later and the arrival of two wonderful children, we decided to incorporate the barn into our dream house.  After adding mill beams from the Valley Falls Plant of Milliken, a barn from Kentucky, a house from Woodruff, a sink from Mexico, a mantel from NY, and a wooden sink from my father-in-law, and my precious 'drawing room' we have found  the calling to downsize for many reasons.  The sprawling 5300 square foot home has been a blast but it is time to move on.  Blood,sweat and tears went into the creation of our dream house!  It is a great livable home.
