This house can serve as a private vacation home, a permanent residence, or a beach rental. It is located within the Ocean Lakes Family Resort in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The home was constructed in May 2003 and is a spacious 1600 square feet. There are five bedrooms and three full baths. The decor is bright and clean with beautiful furnishings, new carpeting, and ceiling fans in each room. One of the best features is the location of the home. It is strategically placed on a lake within walking distance to the beach, recreation center, and swimming pools. You will experience the best of both worlds as you enjoy lakeside living with a beautiful ocean view! An outdoor shower, utility closet, grill, picnic table, and swing are located on the ground level. There is also covered parking for up to 4 vehicles. The lower level has a covered deck with rocking chairs and an outdoor dining table. The upper deck is uncovered for sunbathing and has access doors to three of the upstairs bedrooms. This beach home will comfortably accommodate a total of 15 people. The home has standard features and five themed bedrooms that create an atmosphere for relaxing: The Captain's room is the downstairs master bedroom, with a king size bed and full bath. Cable TV/VCR The second floor consists of 4 bedrooms with 2 full baths. The Aloha room has a set of bunk beds and a twin bed. The Sea Breeze room has a queen size bed and an ocean view. The Paradise Bay room has a queen size bed, sitting area, and an ocean view. The Lakeshore room has a queen size bed, a day bed with trundle, and a view of the lake. There is also a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room, with cable TV and DVD/VCR combo. Each bedroom has cable TV with a DVD player or VCR player Additional amenities include a telephone, central air, washer/dryer, garbage disposal, and fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and microwave. Ocean Lakes is a 310-acre facility which offers 24 hour gated security and a variety of amenities. It is a huge, self contained, year-round village that's practically a vacation in and of itself. The resort contains a heated pool, olympic size pool, two kiddie pools, splash zone for kids, basketball courts, volleyball, shuffleboard, putt putt golf, horseshoes, playgrounds and a video arcade for the kids. There is also a post office, snack/ice cream shop, gift shop, bike rentals, nature trails, and 5 freshwater lakes for fishing. A spacious recreation center offers programs for adults and children throughout the year. Kamp Starfish, held during the summer months is for ages 4-11, and offers crafts, beach games, nature activities, fire truck rides, circus acts, magic shows, stories and music. Adults will enjoy special entertainment, dances, crafts, bingo and theme parties. The nature center provides educational displays and exhibits on marine life. Church services are held every Sunday in the rec-center. The multi-level observation deck and concession area gives guests a beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean with adequate seating and picnic tables for lunches and snacks.
