Travelers in the southwest visiting Zion, Bryce, Capitol Reef, Arches, Canyonlands and Grand Canyon National Park often come through this magnificent scenic area for hiking, biking, camping, photography, and family recreation from March until early November. A wide range of people from all over the world return year after year because there is so much to do and see! This Log Building was constructed of "old growth Canadian Red Cedar" as the Forest Service Office in 1965 . Two more rooms and two restrooms were added on in 1974 and the entire structure was then covered with aluminum siding. The cedar shake roof adds rustic charm. We purchased the building in 1993 (after the federal offices were relocated) and eventually we restored all the original walls to their log condition inside. The warmth of the wood surprises and delights our customers. 7 different rooms offer the opportunity to change merchandising venues in each one and even the hallway has been used as a display area. It is Bigger than it looks! Additional utilitiy hook ups are situated on the rear of the property. A large parking lot offers the opportunity to build a home or some other addition to the business.
