Enjoy your own dock and floating swim platform, sunny yard, and stairs from the house down to the water. The house is only 100' from the water, and there are only 2 other houses on the lake, none in view.

This property is also a year-round rental property, with full bookings in summer 2007 and 08. Average rates are $2,500 per week.

The fully-furnished, post-and-beam home has 3 baths, 5 bedrooms and has 3 levels of decks (teak patio furniture included!). The kitchen porch is screened with large windows. This stunning Saltbox is 28' x 36' with exposed post-and-beams throughout.

The kitchen and 1st floor bathroom have tile floors, and the rest of the house has wood floors, carpet and area rugs. The first floor has the kitchen/dining area, a great room (with its own deck), a full bath, a laundry room with a new washer/dryer, and a 1/2 bath. The loft level has two bedrooms plus a 15' x 9' tv/sitting area, and a bathroom with two sinks, toilet and whirlpool tub. One of the bedrooms here has a huge 8' x 20' private carpeted deck. The finished daylight level (on the lake side of the house) has 3 bedrooms, a coffee center with sink, sitting areas, and a slider to the outdoor patio.

Furnishings
All furniture is new... All bedrooms have new queen beds, quality linens, mirrors and bureaus. One lake-level bedroom also has a twin bunkbed (but no windows, so we call this the kids' clubhouse). There is a queen sleeper sofa in the great room for extra guests. All told, the house can sleep 12 people.

There is a fully equipped kitchen, and 2 laundry centers. The living room has a large tv and dvd/vhs player, and the loft has a tv/vhs player. Cable tv runs on all three floors.

Three heating systems ensure cozy warmth all year round -- modern hot water baseboard (4 zones! and Super-Stor domestic hot water); wood stove; and k-1 monitor.

Nature
Enjoy the serenity of a quiet lake (electric motors only, no power boats). Watch the beavers, herons and loons, or fish for brown, brook and rainbow trout, large and small mouth bass, and other fish. Maybe you'll spot a moose across the way!
