This very peaceful home, located a quarter mile from the banks of the Rio Grande River, is in historic and animal-friendly Corrales Village, New Mexico. Beyond the master bath is a laundry and storage room (6'7"x16'10") with outside access. The laundry room serves as a pass through to 2 rentable artist studios (15'x31' and 17'x31") south and east light.

French doors open off a covered wooded deck (8'x22') into the great room. Beyond the deck is open-air flagstone area, shaded by a large tree in the afternoons. On the opposite side of the house is an open-air flagstone patio which enjoys morning sun and is shady in the afternoons.

Just beyond the northwest reaches of Albuquerque's city limits, with all the goods and services a small city can offer, Corrales presents country living with city conveniences. The village has a local market, stocked with a large variety of foods and supplies, including and extensive selection of wines. Among the other amenities of the Village are several high-quality restaurants, many art galleries and unique shops.

The property taxes are very low. The rest of the country's real estate values have been in decline, while the Albuquerque/Santa Fe area experienced a steady rise in real estate values, with a strong prediction of five more years of rising values, especially on the west side of Albuquerque.
