About the Tappan Highlands Subdivision… all lots (26 total) are 2+ acres with most being 5 acres or more.  We are located on Tappan Lake, a 2300 acre lake managed by the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District (MWCD).  We are approximately 7 miles from the nearest town, and about 35 miles south of Canton Ohio, or about 80 miles west of Pittsburgh, PA.  We have a homeowner’s association that maintains our large private floating docks in a cove adjacent to the subdivision – all homeowners have access to at least two slips.  From our home, it is a short walk along a path following the water's edge to the dock area – there is also vehicle access to the dock area.
