20+ Acres River Front Home

This home is located in scenic south central Pennsylvania in Wayne Twp. Mifflin County.  Within easy weekend commute from Washington D C, Baltimore Md., Philadelphia, Pittsburgh Etc.  We have 4 wheeler, and bike trails on property. There are over a 1000 Douglas fir trees. Plenty of room for hunting deer.

 Near by attractions: 18 hole country club golf course within 2 miles, Schools within 3 miles. Lake Raystown 20 miles and Penn State University Main Campus 50 miles in State College Pa. Snow-skiing and waterskiing near by. At Penn State you have wonderful plays and concerts all year. We have been here almost 9 years and loved every minute, but are getting older and need to down size. This is a wonderful quiet place to live but close enough to some exciting places if the quiet gets to much.  If you love nature and enjoy bird watching this is the place for you. Over the 9 years we have enjoyed whitetail deer, Gray and red squirrels, rabbits, ducks and birds of all kinds.

My absolute favorite is the beautiful mature bald eagle that soars over us a few times of year. You don't see him often but the times you do are amazing. We have blue birds, robins, cardinals, blue jays, red headed woodpeckers, swallows, hawks, Canadian geese, all kinds of song birds.
