Updated 3br/2b home in peaceful North Lakeland neighborhood!

This house has a wonderful floorplan.  It feels larger than many homes with more square footage, but is still small enough to be easily cleaned.  A lovely new front door and the sliding rear glass doors allow light to warm the living area up during the day.  The creative multiple archways that connect the dining room, kitchen and large living room give the home the feel of an open floorplan while still maintaining a degree of seperation between rooms.  This allows you to prepare a meal without your guests peering over your shoulder.  The 20X14 living room is almost a great room by itself, and permits you to arrange furniture in nearly any configuration you can imagine.  Do you have a big screen television?  We are wired for surround sound and an overhead projector.

In 2006 we put new tile floors in the kitchen, formal dining room, hallway, and bathrooms. After tile had been carefully laid to our satisfaction, the remaining carpet was removed and replaced. We didn't feel there was enough storage in the kitchen, so new cabinets and an additional countertop were put in, transforming the kitchen into a haven for the brilliant cook that feeds our family.  The dining room is large enough to set a table for six, but small enough that you'll feel cozy when there are only two.

The master bedroom is just the right size for a king sized bed and your furniture, with a bathroom and walk in closet of its own.  The oversized window in this room manages to collect light all day long, making the room bright and cheerful.

The neighborhood has been fantastic since we've been here.  Our neighbors are all very friendly and keep an eye out to help eachother.  We've accidentally left our garage open for an entire day several times, and after returning from a full day at the beach or at Disney, we've found that nothing was disturbed and our home was still safe.  Adding to the safety of the home is the surveillance system we installed in 2007.  It allows us to view all the important areas around our home, day or night, and it's currently set up to allow remote viewing from anywhere on the internet.
